• Engages with insurance providers to address outstanding claims.
• Investigates any account balances that are either fully or partially unpaid.
• Evaluates unpaid and underpaid claims.
• Resubmits or appeals claims when necessary.
• Confirms payment information adjustments with the supervisor.
• Organizes collection efforts for accounts that are overdue.
• Adheres to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Addresses customer inquiries related to account statuses.
• Conducts thorough research on customer accounts and documents findings accurately.
• Resolves discrepancies and processes adjustments and refunds as required.
• Ensures the accurate entry of collection activity details into the billing system.
• Initiates payments and resubmits invoices as needed.
• A high school diploma is mandatory.
• At least one year of relevant experience is necessary.
• Fundamental skills in Word and Excel are required.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, verbal).
• Basic mathematical skills, with a strong capability to understand, interpret, and generate spreadsheet data.
