Collections Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Initiate proactive outreach to customers with overdue accounts.

• Gain insight into customers’ financial challenges and work together to find payment solutions.

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls related to delinquent loan payments.

• Negotiate and implement payment arrangements following Enova’s call flow procedures.

• Address customer issues and complex late-payment situations with professionalism and empathy.

• Clarify the consequences of overdue payments and provide assistance for financial resolution.

• Precisely document customer interactions, payment plans, and pertinent information in Enova’s database.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume debt collection environment.

• Proven track record of effectively managing inbound and outbound calls while achieving daily call volume targets.

• Outstanding conflict resolution and communication abilities.

• Demonstrated skill in active listening and de-escalation techniques.

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Capability to balance company policies with customer empathy to secure payment arrangements or settlements.

• High degree of self-management suitable for remote work.

• Excellent time management skills and strict adherence to schedules.

• Ability to maintain focus, attention to detail, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Capacity to think quickly and logically to creatively solve problems under pressure.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
