Coherency Verification Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Validate intricate digital designs at the RTL level based on architecture and design specifications.

• Create and sustain verification environments utilizing SystemVerilog and UVM.

• Develop, execute, and troubleshoot test plans for block-level, subsystem-level, and top-level verification.

• Engage in the verification of coherent systems, focusing on cache-related functionalities and interconnect behaviors.

• Assess designs that incorporate CHI protocol, cache architectures, coherency mechanisms, and interactions at the system level.

• Execute and oversee simulations, regressions, and debugging of failures with industry-standard verification tools.

• Employ both formal and dynamic verification techniques to detect design issues early in the process.

• Utilize scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Bash, or TCL to enhance automation in verification flows and regression activities.

• Collaborate intensively with architecture, design, and verification teams to examine specifications, clarify requirements, and resolve challenges.

• Monitor, document, and convey verification progress, bugs, coverage status, and technical risks.

• Aid in the continuous enhancement of verification methodologies, tools, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD.

• Proficiency in English at C1 level.

• Over 8 years of industrial experience.

• Expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM.

• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash, TCL) and regression tools.

• Experience with simulation and related simulation tools.

• Knowledge of revision control methodologies and tools (git, svn).

• Experience in block-level and subsystem or top-level verification.

• Background in both formal and dynamic verification.

• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.

• Understanding of the CHI protocol.

• Insight into cache structures and their parameters.

• Experience in the verification of coherent systems.
