Coding, OASIS Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess OASIS and document suggested modifications in the approved system

• Review ICD-10 coding and sequencing based on documentation in the patient chart

• Finalize documentation of results review; ensure that workflow processes are accurate and timely

• Record the rationale for changes and the anticipated reimbursement impact

• Regularly achieve chart equivalent targets and maintain quality metrics

• Collaborate with a diverse range of post-acute clients and EMR systems

• Physical requirements include prolonged periods of sitting, computer usage, and telephone interaction

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical coding or OASIS review

• HCS-D certification required

• HCS-O or COS-C certification is necessary

• Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail paired with excellent organizational skills

• Shows learning agility; actively seeks opportunities for teaching, support, and professional development

• Comfortable with remote work setups and virtual collaboration tools
