C#/.NET Desktop Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Position: Front-End Developer

• Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

• Time Zone: Available anytime from 4:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST

• Develop and sustain WPF desktop applications adhering to a strict MVVM architecture

• Create clean, reusable Views, ViewModels, and DataTemplates

• Construct interactive viewports/viewers that allow users to rotate, scroll, zoom in, and zoom out on 3D models

• Develop state-driven UIs for intricate engineering workflows

• Integrate UI components with .NET backend services and external systems

• Ensure proper command behavior (enable/disable, async execution, UI state)

• Enhance the performance, responsiveness, and consistency of the UI layer

• Work collaboratively with UI/UX designers to adhere to the design language

• Partner closely with engineers on domain-specific workflows

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in developing and maintaining WPF desktop applications with a strict MVVM architecture

• Proficient in designing clean, reusable Views, ViewModels, and DataTemplates

• Skilled in building interactive viewports/viewers for rotating, scrolling, and zooming in/out of 3D models

• Capable of creating state-driven UIs for complex engineering workflows

• Experience integrating UI with .NET backend services and external systems

• Ability to ensure proper command behavior (enable/disable, async execution, UI state)

• Competent in improving the performance, responsiveness, and consistency of the UI layer

• Collaborative experience with UI/UX designers while adhering to design language

• Close collaboration with engineers on domain-specific workflows

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET

• In-depth understanding of WPF (Bindings, Styles, Templates, Resources)

• Practical knowledge of MVVM (e.g., CommunityToolkit.Mvvm or similar)

• Ability to build UI with a clear separation of concerns

• Familiarity with dependency injection and application composition (e.g., Microsoft.Extensions.Hosting)

• Experience with data-driven UIs and complex state management

• Ability to work across various UI paradigms (desktop and web)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)

• A minimum of 2 years of professional front-end development experience

• Comfortable working asynchronously with a globally distributed remote team

• Reliable availability for a full 8-hour workday within the 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST timeframe

• Full professional proficiency in English, as this role requires frequent written and verbal collaboration within a distributed team

• Experience with ASP.NET Core or Blazor (or other web UI technologies)

• Familiarity with engineering, CAD, or BIM-related software

• Experience working with 3D data or visualization (e.g., viewports, geometry, CAD-like systems)

• Awareness of performance-sensitive desktop applications

• Interest in structural or architectural workflows

• Non-negotiable Requirements: Experience in desktop application development (critical differentiator from web/mobile developers)

• Proficient in WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)

• Strong command of C#
