Cloud & Technical FinOps Engineer – AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Alibaba Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Consult with our clients and engage with platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or hybrid environments.

• Serve as the primary contact and implementer for technical inquiries and their solutions, focusing on Technical FinOps, Cloud Governance, architecture, Kubernetes, migration strategies, and more.

• Create and develop migration strategies for cloud computing, taking FinOps considerations into account.

• Offer technical consulting for the adoption of cloud solutions across various platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) and implement these solutions.

• Provide guidance on the incorporation of FinOps principles and strategies.

• Standardize practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

• Assess system and software engineering tools and processes.

• Develop system specifications tailored to our clients' environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with public cloud services (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or Microsoft Azure).

• Cloud certifications are a plus (for instance, CKAD).

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, Terraform, or similar technologies.

• A keen interest in AI and AI-assisted systems within the context of FinOps.

• Basic programming and/or scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).

• Experience with Cloud Identity & Access Management is a plus.

• Knowledge of serverless architectures and API management.

• Experience in monitoring, logging, and auditing on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS CloudWatch & CloudTrail, Elasticsearch).

• Fundamental understanding of FinOps and its essential principles.

• Proficiency in both German and English.
