Cloud Platform Integration Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

• Integrates a variety of both familiar and unfamiliar technologies into well-coordinated solutions.

• Assesses gaps in technology solutions and devises strategies to address them.

• Adheres to guidance from team leaders during implementation and scope definition.

• Develops and maintains installation, integration, and testing procedures.

• Automates manual processes.

• Clearly documents procedures in an unambiguous manner.

• Demonstrates work to diverse audiences.

• Engages in and contributes to the team's Agile ceremonies, including daily scrum, Sprint and Program Increment planning, and retrospective meetings.

• Supports teammates in achieving their objectives.

• Reviews the work of peers and provides constructive feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience.

• Must possess a current and active Secret clearance.

• Ability to communicate clearly regarding technology solutions, design decisions, and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

• Experience in implementing solutions based on principles of RBAC, least-privilege, authentication and authorization, PKI and certificate management, secure networking, and containerization, along with container image scanning.

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience with each of the following: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and frameworks such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.

• Experience in automating procedures using scripting technologies like Python, Linux shells, Windows PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and their services (e.g., compute, storage, networking), including VPC, subnets, VPN, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Proficiency with version control tools, such as Git.

• Experience with container technologies, specifically Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of performance monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
