Cloud Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance AWS multi-account landing zones utilizing Control Tower, account vending, and service control policies.

• Architect and implement hybrid networking solutions leveraging VPC architecture, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and VPN connections to on-premises and Azure.

• Create and maintain Terraform modules that serve as dependencies for other engineers.

• Automate deployment processes using CI/CD with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CodePipeline.

• Manage containerized workloads on EKS with Helm and Argo CD as required.

• Draft runbooks and transfer knowledge to client engineering teams.

• Conduct knowledge transfer as a component of every engagement.

• Assist in five migration waves, each involving cutover windows and rollback strategies, across an environment of 191 applications and 27 Azure subscriptions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in writing and maintaining Terraform modules at scale in a production environment.

• Strong expertise in AWS networking, including VPC design, routing, Transit Gateway, VPN, and hybrid connectivity.

• Extensive knowledge of the AWS platform, covering compute, storage, and IAM.

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or a higher level is preferred.

• Proficient in Linux, with working knowledge of Bash and Python.

• Experience with production CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CodePipeline.

• Demonstrated ability to build or manage a multi-account AWS landing zone.

• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with AWS Control Tower, Terragrunt, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, Argo CD, Ansible, Azure, VMware, AWS DevOps Professional, Serverless/Lambda, and GuardDuty/Security Hub in PCI-DSS environments.
