Cloud Operations Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, provision, configure, and manage cloud or infrastructure components in accordance with approved architectural patterns.

• Automate routine provisioning, deployment, configuration, and operational tasks.

• Implement controls for security, identity, networking, backup, monitoring, and availability.

• Investigate incidents, capacity challenges, vulnerabilities, and performance issues.

• Maintain runbooks, diagrams, standards, and change records.

• Collaborate effectively across engineering and operations teams.

• Contribute to the development of reliable and maintainable solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience as outlined in the job details.

• Typically, a minimum of 4 years in a related professional role; the specific threshold must align with the approved requisition.

• Hands-on experience with the primary programming language and framework, APIs, SQL, testing, Git, and CI/CD practices.

• Professional background in cloud engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, or systems operations.

• Practical knowledge of specific cloud, operating system, container, or automation technologies.

• Understanding of the fundamentals of networking, identity, security, monitoring, and availability.

• Experience with scripting, automation, source control, or infrastructure as code methodologies.

• Ability to methodically troubleshoot infrastructure and production issues.

• Strong documentation skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
