This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engineering and providing support for multi-cloud and on-premises infrastructures.
• Observing and reporting on network-related infrastructure.
• Utilizing AWS CLI and GitLab for orchestrating builds.
• Monitoring JIRA during the sprint cycle.
• Participating in daily stand-ups and status check-in meetings.
• Constructing and maintaining infrastructure as code.
• Reading and comprehending system and functional requirements.
• Composing technical specifications and comprehensive documentation of work.
• Reporting any gaps in requirements to Technical Leads and Cloud Architects.
• Accurately estimating project time and resources needed.
• Reviewing project scope and timeline estimates with senior team members.
• Collaborating with Cloud Architects and business partners to validate time and resource estimates.
• Consulting with Cloud Architects on testing plans and troubleshooting/debugging errors.
• Supporting escalation incidents and fulfilling on-call duty requirements.
• Working and collaborating in a primarily remote work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 2 - 4 years of progressive experience with cloud implementations and infrastructure as code.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on AWS experience is essential.
• At least 3 years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Familiarity with F5 LTM, CCSP, AWS Cloud, F5, and Palo Alto certifications is advantageous.
• Experience with IPSec VPN, Dynamic Routing, Load Balancing, Network Access Control, Wireless, and Zone Based Firewalls.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Business Management teams is a plus.
• Possess the knowledge, skills, and experience to produce detailed technical documentation.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IAC), Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, etc.
• Scripting skills in BASH and Python.
• Understanding of development methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
• Experience with AWS and commonly used AWS services.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions.
• Must be comfortable using Git.
