Cloud Native Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Develop Cloud Native infrastructures and platforms utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools.

• Containerize and deploy applications on Kubernetes.

• Configure managed Kubernetes services across leading Cloud Providers.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Cloud Native Continuous Delivery workflows.

• Analyze technical issues and propose solutions to the project team.

• Document the work completed.

• Contribute to the adoption of Cloud Native technologies and practices within enterprise clients.

• Ensure that the technical objectives of the required solutions in assigned projects are met.

• Understand client needs and apply Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, and DevOps methodologies.

• Collaborate with the Professional Services team and senior experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Approximately 1 year of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Around 1 year of experience in containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman.

• At least 1 year of experience with one or more Cloud Providers including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, particularly with managed Kubernetes services like EKS, AKS, or Tanzu.

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies and associated tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.

• Familiarity with Cloud Native Continuous Delivery tools such as Keptn, Flux, Argo, or Tekton.

• Consulting or client management experience.

• Strong technical project management skills.

• Ability to analyze technical problems, propose solutions, and document the work done.

• Effective collaboration and communication skills within the team.

• Certifications or demonstrable experience in Linux system skills are preferred.

• Certifications or experience in Cloud Native networking, Cloud Native storage, monitoring and logging, CI/CD tools, and Cloud Provider or Kubernetes certifications are advantageous.

• Positive experience or knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, Podman, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Helm, Argo CD, Flux, Tekton, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Elastic Stack, EKS, AKS, GKE, and Tanzu.

• Native Italian speaker.

• Good professional proficiency in English.
