Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Execute Azure projects for clients encompassing design, implementation, and capability releases.

• Implement cloud infrastructure and modernization initiatives.

• Facilitate workshops and conduct health assessments.

• Provide escalation support to frontline teams.

• Engage in project planning, design, configuration, delivery, and testing processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business needs and convert them into technical solutions.

• Design and implement Microsoft Azure solutions that adhere to the Azure Well-Architected Framework.

• Create and uphold documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.

• Evaluate current business practices, processes, and procedures to pinpoint modernization opportunities.

• Keep abreast of industry trends and technologies.

• Enhance technical knowledge through active solution delivery and broaden skills in digital transformation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Infrastructure Services, Azure Platform Services, App Services, Database Services, Storage Services, Azure backup and recovery services, and Azure Monitor.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, modern authentication, and Single Sign-On.

• Solid knowledge of Windows Server operating systems.

• Familiarity with networking concepts and hybrid network design.

• Good grasp of Microsoft reference architectures and their appropriate applications.

• Capability to articulate and demonstrate Microsoft Azure functionalities and business advantages to client stakeholders.

• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and methodologies.

• Preferably experience in IT infrastructure, including on-premises, hybrid, and/or cloud-native environments.

• Preferably experience with large organizations and enterprise-scale platforms.

• Experience with an MSP or service provider.

• Proven certifications and experience in deploying infrastructure- and platform-based solutions or managing modern platform services.

• Proficient in delivering under tight deadlines while overseeing multiple Azure projects across various environments.

• Ideally hold the AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator certification as a minimum.

• Desirable exams may include AZ-700, AZ-900, and AZ-140.
