• Offer technical expertise on Public Cloud issues to regional sales teams and clients.
• Utilize and showcase automation tools for cloud service provisioning.
• Convert business needs into technical specifications.
• Create intricate cloud networking architectures that adhere to CSP best practices.
• Execute proof of concepts.
• Lead presentations aimed at customers.
• Facilitate training sessions for both internal partners and clients.
• Remain informed about the latest cloud security threats, trends, and updates on Fortinet products relevant to public cloud settings.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and implementing Public Cloud services on platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of network security principles and technologies, including VPN, Proxies, Authentication methods (e.g., SAML, OAuth), and Firewall fundamentals.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Demonstrated presentation and public speaking abilities, with the skill to effectively convey technical concepts to varied audiences of different sizes and technical backgrounds.
• Basic understanding of cloud marketplace dynamics and private offerings within public cloud platforms is advantageous.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker, along with knowledge of their security considerations in cloud settings.
• Awareness and practical knowledge of APIs and applications in cloud environments.
• Scripting skills in a major programming language, such as Python, are a plus.
• Understanding of database services like DynamoDB and PostgreSQL is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using data formats such as YAML, XML, JSON is preferable.
• Self-driven with the capability to work independently and complete tasks effectively.
• Experience in conducting efficient evaluation processes and closures is an advantage.
• Technical knowledge and understanding of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platforms and their components (e.g., SWG, CASB, ZTNA) is a considerable asset.
• Willingness and ability to travel as necessary for customer engagements, internal meetings, and cloud marketing events.
