This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide assistance to the project manager in managing engineering projects across various initiatives.

• Help configure services within the Azure cloud environment.

• Support the implementation of updates to network modernization policies.

• Aid Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams with the preparation and submission of Contract Deliverables (CDRLs).

• Organize and assist with engineering project tasks while addressing issues for SME teams.

• Facilitate coordination and communication related to engineering testing activities.

• Rotate through various engineering support roles to gain insights into the design, testing, migration, and operational phases.

• Provide support to the DIET engineering team on the Defense Enclave Services (DES) contract.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at modernizing the DODNet wireless LAN and transitioning services to the DODNet Azure Cloud.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Network Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated strong interest in network and cloud engineering, systems engineering, or computer science.

• Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, Excel, Teams, or the Power Platform, as well as Azure; academic or personal experience is acceptable.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively in a virtual team setting and manage multiple technical tasks at once.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• A Secret security clearance is required to begin.

• Reliable internet connection is necessary for remote work and video conferencing.

• Candidates must reside in the United States.
