This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Generate detailed reports for multi-cloud environments to facilitate management decisions.

• Collaborate on a global scale with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, achieve results, and foster strategic partnerships.

• Assist the FinOps team in achieving goals/KPIs, retrieving data, and performing modeling.

• Work alongside Cloud Governance to outline data process flows and create a centralized data source.

• Evaluate and project cloud hosting expenses.

• Offer recommendations for cost optimization.

• Develop and manage reports for month-end and quarter-end activities.

• Implement Agile methodologies for planning and execution.

• Utilize tools and technologies to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

• Gather requirements for specific automation initiatives and assess potential solutions based on compatibility, skill development needs, team capabilities, costs, and both current and future strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, management information systems, data analytics, or relevant professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in IT, specifically in Business Analytics, Project Management, or IT Finance.

• Familiarity with financial principles and business analytics.

• Understanding of application development environments, databases, data management, and the limitations of infrastructure capabilities.

• Proficient in analyzing large datasets to extract meaningful insights.

• Strong analytical skills with a penchant for comprehending technology.

• Expertise in advanced Excel functions.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud.

• Knowledge of cloud billing and cost management tools and processes.

• Experience with enterprise discount programs and commitment plans.

• Familiarity with third-party cloud cost optimization tools like Cloudability.

• Understanding of RDBMS, NoSQL, and data lake concepts.

• Background in managing or developing automation using Java or Python.

• Experience with AWS services including S3 and Lambda.

• Ability to leverage REST APIs effectively.

• Knowledge of building and deploying Agentic AI solutions.

• Self-motivated individual capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

• Capability to collaborate with multiple internal teams to support customer needs.
