Cloud Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee cloud infrastructure and services to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.

• Develop and enforce policies and procedures for cloud security.

• Enhance cloud performance and cost-effectiveness through ongoing monitoring and optimization.

• Create and manage automation scripts for the deployment, management, and scaling of cloud resources.

• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to seamlessly integrate cloud solutions.

• Design and implement strategies for disaster recovery and data backup.

• Maintain detailed documentation of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and processes.

• Architect scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.

• Lead cloud projects from the initial concept to final completion.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior cloud engineers.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma is mandatory.

• A relevant certification in one of the major cloud platforms is essential; this certification must be achieved within the first year of employment.

• A minimum of 7 years of industry experience is required, with a preference for experience in large enterprise environments.

• Demonstrated experience as a Cloud Engineer, focusing on senior-level responsibilities.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, automation tools, and security best practices.

• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• No supervisory responsibilities are required.

• Driving is not a requirement for this position.
