Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Administer, configure, and maintain cloud environments on Microsoft Azure and AWS

• Provide support for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions

• Develop, deploy, and validate Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Design, implement, and sustain DevSecOps platforms (Jenkins, GitLab) alongside pipeline automation

• Establish and uphold cloud security measures in compliance with FedRAMP and federal cybersecurity standards

• Create cloud solutions, operational procedures, security policies, and automation strategies

• Configure, monitor, and manage cloud networking, which includes VPCs, subnets, and NACLs

• Oversee the integration, upgrades, and lifecycle activities of network hardware and software

• Produce documentation, standard operating procedures, and technical recommendations aimed at continuous service enhancement

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Network Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a related IT infrastructure role (Journeyman level)

• Preferably holds Microsoft or AWS Certification

• Experience in an IT Operations Team (ITOps)

• Familiarity with working in an Agile Kanban environment

• Knowledge of the Service Now ticketing system

• Strong background in remote work and utilizing tools for effective collaboration with team members remotely (Slack, MS Teams)
