Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Execute the Google Cloud Landing Zone architecture throughout the Assessment, Design, Build, Implementation, and Handover phases.

• Establish and configure GCP organizational frameworks, Cloud Identity tenants, billing accounts, IAM groups, and essential cloud services.

• Create and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code components.

• Implement cloud controls aligned with FedRAMP High and IL4 standards.

• Set up Assured Workloads, VPC Service Controls, CMEK, and secure governance measures.

• Collaborate with Network, Security, and DevOps professionals on deployments, validation, and compliance initiatives.

• Administer cloud services across compute, database, networking, identity, and security domains.

• Assist in compliance validation and preparation for FedRAMP and IL4 approvals.

• Document infrastructure configurations, operational procedures, and deployment standards.

• Contribute to the optimization, automation, and continuous enhancement of the cloud platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.

• In-depth knowledge of GCP Administration services.

• Experience with GCP Compute services and cloud infrastructure deployment.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud database services.

• Experience in implementing Google Cloud security controls and best practices.

• Understanding of Google Cloud networking concepts and services.

• Proficient in building and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

• Comprehension of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and deployment methodologies.

• Experience with IAM, identity management, and access control frameworks.

• Knowledge of Cloud Identity, billing account management, and organizational structures within GCP.

• Familiarity with version control and collaborative deployment practices.

• Ability to support cloud deployments in Agile delivery environments.

• Experience with cloud governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
