Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Implement the Landing Zone on Google Cloud Platform, adhering to the phases of Assess, Design, Build, Implement, and Handover.

• Construct and configure the organizational structure of GCP, Cloud Identity, billing accounts, IAM groups, and infrastructure foundation using Terraform.

• Implement infrastructure controls and components in alignment with FedRAMP High and IL4 compliance requirements.

• Configure and support resources such as Assured Workloads, VPC Service Controls, and CMEK according to the defined architecture.

• Collaborate with architecture, networking, and security specialists for the technical validation of implementations.

• Partner with the DevOps team to ensure standardization, versioning, and reusability of infrastructure as code.

• Support deployment, validation, and infrastructure testing activities prior to compliance approval.

• Ensure adherence to best practices in administration, security, networking, and services of Google Cloud Platform.

• Contribute to the delivery of a secure, scalable cloud environment prepared for data solutions, analytics, and artificial intelligence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with administration and implementation of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform computing services.

• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform database services.

• Understanding of security within Google Cloud Platform.

• Knowledge of networking in Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience managing identities and access (IAM).

• Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Experience in cloud Landing Zone deployment projects.

• Knowledge of governance, security, and compliance practices in cloud environments.

• Experience working integrated with DevOps teams.

• Preferred: experience in environments regulated by FedRAMP High and IL4.

• Preferred: knowledge of Assured Workloads, VPC Service Controls, and CMEK.

• Preferred: experience in industrial operations or manufacturing modernization projects.

• Preferred: experience with data platforms, analytics, and Looker.

• Preferred: knowledge in environments with artificial intelligence and automation solutions.

• Preferred: experience in projects focusing on security and protection of sensitive information.
