This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.
• Accountable for the design, implementation, and security of cloud-based infrastructures and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure effective automation, strong security integration, and efficient system monitoring across OCI and GCP environments.
• Create, construct, and secure CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions.
• Integrate automated security testing (SAST/DAST) through SonarQube and other related tools.
• Execute and oversee GitOps workflows for continuous delivery with ArgoCD.
• Design, construct, and secure cloud infrastructure on OCI and GCP using Terraform.
• Automate configuration and security hardening tasks via Ansible.
• Develop and sustain automation scripts while performing system administration using Bash.
• Secure and manage container orchestration platforms such as Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Collaborate with the QA team to integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines.
• Facilitate automated execution of QA tests to serve as quality gates prior to deployment.
• Build and oversee the enterprise observability and monitoring stack utilizing Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Create dashboards, alerts, and incident response playbooks for performance and security monitoring.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Over 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in DevSecOps principles and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong skills in Bash scripting and automation using Ansible.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security architecture and native security services on OCI and GCP.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Advanced capabilities in CI/CD design utilizing GitHub Actions and GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
• Practical experience in the setup and security of Kubernetes (OKE/GKE).
• Experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube, SAST, and DAST.
• Strong understanding of observability platforms including Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Familiarity with automated functional testing frameworks and their integration into DevOps pipelines.
