Cloud Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive financial management for AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

• Create and deliver cost reports, trend analyses, and forecasts to stakeholders and executive teams.

• Recognize, suggest, and apply ongoing cost enhancements through rightsizing strategies, Reserved Instances (RI), and Savings Plans.

• Utilize Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools for predictive cost assessments, anomaly detection, and optimization automation.

• Assist in cloud security to guarantee compliance, maintain a robust security posture, and address vulnerabilities.

• Enhance environment visibility by developing dashboards, metrics, monitoring systems, and alerts.

• Create scripts and automations aimed at improving operational efficiency and optimizing infrastructure processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in FinOps and cost optimization across at least two major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Expertise in Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and GCP Billing.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information in clear reports and impactful presentations to senior management.

• Understanding of AI-driven solutions for cost forecasting and efficiency automation.

• Familiarity with tools such as AWS Security Hub, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, or GCP Security Command Center (SCC).

• Experience with industry-standard tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus).

• Proficient in Terraform and programming logic/Python for automating routines related to resource management and other optimization tasks.

• It will be advantageous to have:

• Active FinOps Certified Practitioner certification.

• Technical certifications from cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience with specialized market tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Spot.io, Kubecost).

• Familiarity with BI tools for creating dynamic dashboards (Power BI, Looker, or QuickSight).

• Practical understanding of frameworks such as Well-Architected and CIS Benchmarks.
