Closing Disclosure Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Create and evaluate Initial Closing Disclosure (ICD) documents for precision and thoroughness in line with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Ensure the ICD is dispatched to the borrower no less than three business days before closing, in compliance with TRID (TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure) regulations.

• Scrutinize loan terms, fees, taxes, and other financial information to guarantee accurate representation in the ICD.

• Verify all loan documentation to confirm consistency with underwriting conditions and customer details.

• Detect and rectify any inconsistencies in loan documentation before the ICD is issued.

• Keep current with federal and state mortgage regulations (including TRID) to ensure all disclosures adhere to legal requirements.

• Maintain comprehensive records of all issued ICDs and track timelines to ensure adherence to the three-day disclosure mandate.

• Collaborate closely with loan officers, underwriters, processors, and closing coordinators to ensure all required data is gathered and accurately presented in the ICD.

• Engage with the loan origination team to resolve any borrower inquiries or concerns related to the closing disclosure.

• Perform quality control assessments on all ICDs prior to submission to ensure the absence of errors or omissions.

• Inform management of any issues or patterns regarding ICD errors or compliance risks for further evaluation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Possess an analytical mindset with the capability to quickly identify and resolve issues.

• Familiarity with loan documentation, including closing disclosures, loan estimates, and underwriting terminology.

• Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage workflow effectively.
