Clinical Trials Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance data-driven applications, including OnCore, eReg, OnCore/Epic interface, Fabric, and Snowflake.

• Streamline data engineering processes and optimize data pipelines.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on business intelligence, data analysis, data visualization, and metric reporting.

• Extract data through queries and implement pipelines for business intelligence purposes.

• Oversee cloud-based data architecture, focusing on Snowflake integration and API applications.

• Align application configurations with strategic goals in collaboration with customers, technical teams, and leadership.

• Create data structures and schemas for data collection, along with custom report generation.

• Offer technical training and user support for staff members.

• Ensure proper documentation of applications and adherence to change control protocols.

• Coordinate with external vendors like Advarra and various software providers.

• Assess requirements, prioritize enhancements, and generate organizational reports.

• Engage in data migration and data flow projects.

• Develop programs to manipulate and transform data, as well as create new files.

• Manage cloud-based data storage and retrieval operations using Snowflake and APIs.

• Supervise eRegulatory systems to ensure compliance and data integrity.

• Provide support for the REDCap ecosystem within Clinical Trial Management.

• Lead the development and management of the datamart and informatics framework that underpins the reporting program.

• Proven experience in integrating data from various sources and systems.

• Proficiency in the high-level manipulation of complex databases.

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data completeness, quality, and acceptability.

• Excellent interpersonal abilities to work effectively with medical professionals, research staff, and trainees.

• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with analysis reporting tools such as Power BI, Jasper Studio, R, Python, and PySpark is preferred.

• Strong organizational skills to manage a diverse portfolio of requests and projects.

• Expertise in Fabric's unified analytics platform, Lakehouse architectures, and Dataflow version 2 for advanced ETL operations.
