Clinical Technologist Intern – Cardiovascular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Facilitate commercial expansion within designated accounts and the wider territory.

• Offer clinical and technical assistance before, during, and after procedures.

• Aid in case preparation, product presentations, installations, and initial product support.

• Address technical and application-related inquiries from sales team members and external partners.

• Contribute to on-site education, consultation, and customer follow-up while adhering to Medtronic policies and hospital guidelines.

• Collaborate with seasoned colleagues to enhance clinical, technical, and customer engagement capabilities.

• Provide support to healthcare professionals throughout South Africa in a field-based setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently in the final year of studies, expecting to graduate in 2026/2027, or have recently completed studies.

• Hold a Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Technology or a National Diploma in Clinical Technology, with a specialization in Cardiology.

• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Willing to travel to meet customer requirements.

• Must be currently unemployed.

• Must be a South African citizen.

• Must be under the age of 30.

• Have not previously participated in a YES programme.

• Should not be currently enrolled in or intending to enroll in postgraduate studies.

• Committed to completing a 12-month internship.
