Clinical Technologist Intern – Cardiovascular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Facilitate commercial expansion within designated accounts and the wider territory.

• Offer clinical and technical assistance before, during, and after procedures.

• Aid in case preparation, product demonstrations, installations, and provide initial product support as applicable to the role.

• Address technical and application-related inquiries from sales team members and external parties.

• Assist in delivering on-site education, consultations, and customer follow-ups while adhering to Medtronic policies and hospital guidelines.

• Collaborate with experienced colleagues to enhance clinical, technical, and customer engagement capabilities.

• Acquire experience in customer support, case preparation, and on-site education in a field setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently in the final year of studies, with graduation anticipated in 2026/2027, or have recently completed studies.

• A Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Technology or a National Diploma in Clinical Technology with a focus on Cardiology.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Willingness to travel to meet customer requirements.

• Must be currently unemployed.

• Must be a South African citizen.

• Must be under the age of 30.

• Have not previously participated in a YES programme.

• Should not be currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in postgraduate studies.

• Committed to completing a 12-month internship.
