This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of proactively driving the performance of clinical projects towards contracted deliverables while fulfilling customer needs and maintaining operational excellence.
• Foster communication and collaboration with clients and project teams within a matrixed, multicultural environment.
• Spearhead the development of the clinical project strategy and ensure prioritization in alignment with the clinical project team and key stakeholders.
• Oversee the operational aspects of projects to facilitate subject recruitment and retention, manage clinical vendor delivery, and supervise the monitoring visit strategy.
• Recognize clinical project, financial, and quality risks by utilizing comprehensive risk management practices and quality by design principles.
• Comply with project governance and issue escalation protocols, ensuring that clinical project plans are established to mitigate identified risks while adhering to professional standards, SOPs, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with project team members and key stakeholders to manage clinical project budgets, resources, and scope effectively.
• Provide motivational leadership and play a pivotal role in forming high-performing clinical project teams.
• A university or college degree (life sciences preferred) or certification in a relevant allied health profession (such as nursing, medical technology, or laboratory technology) from an accredited institution.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Over 5 years of experience in clinical research/monitoring or a comparable combination of education and experience necessary to execute key job responsibilities successfully.
• At least 3 years of experience leading project teams through clinical studies.
• Experience in oncology as a Clinical Trial Leader (CTL).
• Proven experience in overseeing external vendors (e.g., CROs, central labs, call centers, DCT providers).
• Familiarity with ICH Guidelines and GCP, including international regulatory requirements for clinical development programs.
• Advanced computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Access, and PowerPoint).
• Experience in managing projects within a matrix and virtual environment.
• Capability to work independently and mentor junior project team members.
• Proficient in negotiating and liaising with clients in a professional manner.
• Standard office environment or remote work as required.
• Weekend and off-hour work as necessary.
• Travel requirements: up to 30% (Global – primarily domestic and international).
