Clinical Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive clinical support and technical knowledge to medical teams using advanced surgical technology in operating room settings, particularly focusing on neurology-related procedures.

• Conduct hands-on training sessions for neurosurgeons, operating room nurses, and support staff.

• Assist with site readiness activities, encompassing system installation and validation, in partnership with technical and engineering teams.

• Participate in live cases, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal clinical outcomes; help with troubleshooting and documentation of case metrics.

• Establish and maintain relationships with clinical stakeholders, fostering trust in system capabilities and long-term satisfaction.

• Record post-case observations, clinical results, product feedback, and procedural insights using structured reporting tools.

• Serve as a liaison between clinical users and technical support teams, promoting continuous improvement based on real-world feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, or a related clinical or life sciences discipline is preferred.

• Prior experience in an operating room, surgical, procedural, or medical device environment is necessary.

• Experience in providing case coverage or direct clinical support during procedures is preferred.

• Background in medical device clinical support, nursing, surgical services, or similar field-based healthcare experience is preferred.

• Comfortable engaging directly with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary hospital teams.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and clinical education skills.

• Capable of learning and effectively conveying technical and clinical information.

• Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in managing multiple hospital accounts and scheduled procedures.

• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

• Experience in neurosurgery, oncology, radiation oncology, or other surgical specialties is advantageous, but not mandatory.
