Clinical Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver individual and group clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians.

• Conduct weekly individual and group clinical supervision sessions.

• Oversee a caseload of 20–24 therapists, providing individual supervision twice a month.

• Facilitate 1–2 supervision groups each week.

• Review and approve clinical documentation, treatment plans, and diagnosis codes.

• Assist supervisees in adopting LGBTQIA+-affirming mental health practices, gender-affirming care, trauma-informed approaches, the application of minority stress models, and family/relationship dynamics.

• Offer support to associates during clinical crises and evaluations of high-risk clients.

• Work collaboratively with Allswell leadership on clinical quality assurance, associate development, and tracking state board licensing.

• Maintain a small client caseload to stay engaged and connected to the work of supervisees.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active, unrestricted independent clinical license in Maryland (LCPC, LCSW-C) or Virginia (LPC, LCSW).

• Formal Board-Approved Supervisor status with the relevant board in the licensing state(s), enabling the candidate to supervise associate-level clinicians in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy.

• At least 2 years of experience providing direct clinical supervision.

• Proven experience and clinical expertise in LGBTQIA+ mental health issues, gender-affirming care protocols, and intersectional identity frameworks.

• Dual licensure in both Maryland and Virginia is highly preferred.

• Experience in delivering tele-supervision within a digital health or multi-state group practice is preferred.

• Background in serving LGBTQ+ clients, including BIPOC and neurodivergent individuals is preferred.

• Knowledge of evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or CPT.

• Capability to supervise associate-level clinicians, including LGPC, LMSW, and Residents in Counseling.

• Proficient in reviewing and signing off on clinical documentation, treatment plans, and diagnosis codes while adhering to state board regulations and payer requirements.
