Clinical Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver individual and group clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians.

• Conduct weekly individual and group clinical supervision sessions for associate clinicians.

• Review and approve clinical documentation, treatment plans, and diagnosis codes.

• Ensure adherence to state board regulations and payer requirements.

• Provide guidance to supervisees on LGBTQIA+-affirming clinical best practices, gender-affirming care, trauma-informed approaches, minority stress model implementation, and family/relationship dynamics.

• Assist associates during clinical crises and evaluations of high-risk clients.

• Collaborate with Allswell leadership on clinical quality assurance, associate development, and tracking of state board licensing.

• Maintain a small client caseload to stay engaged and connected with supervisees.

• Supervise a team of 20–24 therapists, providing individual supervision twice a month.

• Facilitate 1–2 supervision groups each week.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active, unrestricted independent clinical license in Maryland (LCPC, LCSW-C) or Virginia (LPC, LCSW).

• Formal Board-Approved Supervisor designation with the relevant board in the licensing state(s).

• At least 2 years of experience providing direct clinical supervision.

• Proven experience and clinical expertise in LGBTQIA+ mental health issues.

• Clinical proficiency in gender-affirming care practices and intersectional identity frameworks.

• Dual licensure in both Maryland and Virginia is highly desirable.

• Experience in delivering tele-supervision within a digital health or multi-state group practice is preferred.

• Background in serving LGBTQ+ clients, including those who are BIPOC and neurodivergent, is preferred.

• Familiarity with evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or CPT is preferred.
