Clinical Specialist – SVI, Superficial Venous Interventions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive technical support for Superficial Venous Interventions (SVI) products and associated procedures to a diverse clinical audience, including physicians, nurses, and technicians.

• Assist sales representatives by providing customer training on products and covering critical cases, particularly focusing on instances where physicians need technical guidance on the safe and effective use of our offerings.

• Conduct product training for all potential stakeholders involved in the usage and sales of the Closure System and VenaSeal, including but not limited to General & Vascular Surgeons, Cardiovascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, and other medical professionals treating venous diseases.

• Offer training on superficial venous ultrasound, the Closure System, Closure Fast, RFS, RFG2, VenaSeal, and the necessary supporting supplies and materials for our procedures. This encompasses ultrasound in-services, product in-services, mock cases, case coverage, and participation in training for field personnel.

• Provide case support as needed to foster business growth and educate customers on our products and related procedures.

• Collaborate with physicians and lab/office staff during the case selection process.

• Address site customer complaints by investigating issues, formulating solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management while supporting territory sales strategy through collaboration with sales, in-servicing, market development activities, inventory support, PO collection, and technical case assistance.

• Exhibit adaptability in providing technical case coverage.

• Educate and support CVG sales and clinical partners on peripheral products while collaborating within the team and CVG to share and utilize best practices.

• Engage in company-sponsored training and educational initiatives.

• Continuously enhance technical knowledge and skillset.

• Regularly provide feedback to the Research and Development team regarding product performance issues and potential improvements.

• Work closely with the Sales team to formulate site-specific sales strategies aimed at promoting Venous Vascular products within the United States to established accounts.

• Assist in creating new tools and tactics to enhance the effectiveness of sales strategies.

• Call points will include hospitals, surgery centers, and physician offices as necessary.

• Keep the manager updated on any changes in work schedule and/or workload.

• Comply with financial, regulatory, and quality compliance standards and requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma with 7+ years of experience, Associate’s degree with 3+ years, or Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of clinical experience.

• Experience in ultrasound and/or venous procedures.

• Background as a Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, medical procedures, and the medical device industry.

• Exceptional customer service skills.

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.

• Proficient in computer applications; experienced with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong project management capabilities with experience in program coordination.

• Ability to organize and participate in multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

• Strong work ethic in achieving the objectives of the position.

• Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) is beneficial but not mandatory.
