This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver technical, clinical, and programming support primarily for 1–2 Territory Managers.
• Assist Territory Managers with after-hours support and related activities.
• Integrate into accounts, fostering trust and relationships to establish rapport with clients.
• Offer complex programming and case-related assistance.
• Conduct PCP work and educational in-services as directed.
• Reach out, visit, and engage current and potential clients regarding Company products.
• Provide medical professionals with sales support, product information, training, staff education, in-services, and technical troubleshooting.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned accounts, customers, and competitor activities.
• Assess and develop sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities.
• Examine new and existing products while monitoring competitor sales, pricing, and offerings.
• Offer guidance on the use of implantable devices in both operating-room and non-operating-room settings.
• Attend trade shows and conferences as necessary.
• Identify the training and in-service needs of customers to enhance the usage, comfort, and understanding of Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies.
• Adhere to FDA regulations, regulatory standards, Company policies, procedures, processes, and assigned tasks.
• Maintain positive collaboration with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Execute other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 1–2 years of work experience, preferably in collaboration with patients in a clinical environment.
• Ability to communicate, comprehend, and educate others on clinical data within the Chronic Pain Therapies domain.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Capability to communicate effectively at various levels and to large groups.
• Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Willingness to work an unpredictable schedule that may change with little notice.
• Competence in meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience working in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Ability to function both as part of a team and as an independent contributor.
• Skill in leveraging and/or engaging others to achieve project goals.
• Capability to engage customers in sales discussions as necessary and as directed by the Territory Manager.
• Willingness to travel 25% within and/or outside the assigned region.
• Preferred: experience with patient interaction in a healthcare-related setting.
• Preferred: familiarity with a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience with Abbott, in a similar spinal cord stimulation capacity, or with another implantable medical device company.
