This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver technical, clinical, and programming support primarily to 1–2 Territory Managers.
• Assist Territory Managers with after-hours call support and related activities.
• Integrate into accounts to foster trust and relationships, establishing strong rapport with customers.
• Offer complex programming and case support.
• Conduct PCP work and educational in-services as assigned.
• Reach out to, visit, and engage clients and potential clients regarding company products.
• Address inquiries and concerns from clients.
• Provide medical professionals with sales support, product information, training, staff education, in-services, and technical troubleshooting.
• Cultivate and maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned accounts, customers, and competitor activities.
• Assess and formulate sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities.
• Gather and analyze information on new and existing products while monitoring competitor sales, prices, and products.
• Offer guidance in operating rooms and non-operating rooms regarding the use of implantable devices.
• Attend trade shows and conferences as necessary.
• Identify customer training and in-service needs to enhance usage, comfort, and understanding of Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies.
• Adhere to FDA regulations, regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
• Maintain positive and collaborative communication and cooperation with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Travel 25% within or outside the designated region.
• Execute other related duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in biomedical engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 1–2 years of work experience, preferably in collaboration with patients in a clinical environment.
• Ability to communicate, comprehend, and educate on clinical data within the Chronic Pain Therapies domain.
• Strong clinical competencies.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation interpersonal skills.
• Capable of communicating effectively at various levels and to large groups.
• Proficient in building strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Adaptable to an unpredictable schedule that may shift on short notice due to changes or delays in operating room schedules.
• Competent in meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
• Strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to function in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Capable of working both as part of a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing setting.
• Skilled in leveraging and/or engaging others to achieve project goals.
• Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
• Capable of engaging customers in sales discussions as required and as directed by the Territory Manager.
• Preferred: experience interacting with patients in a healthcare-related setting.
• Preferred: experience in a cross-division enterprise business model.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience with Abbott, in a similar spinal cord stimulation (SCS) environment, or with another implantable medical device company.
