Clinical Site Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution of studies and ensure operational excellence within Abbott Cardiovascular therapies.

• Establish and maintain an effective clinical territory encompassing Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Columbus.

• Identify, cultivate, qualify, and sustain relationships with clinical trial sites and investigators.

• Manage the processes for site nomination, qualification, startup, initiation, monitoring, and close-out.

• Lead continuous training and retraining initiatives for site stakeholders to ensure adherence to protocols.

• Oversee site recruitment, enrollment, data collection, resolution of discrepancies, and compliance efforts.

• Utilize operational metrics to reduce screen failure rates and attrition.

• Review site data and source documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Facilitate the resolution of data queries and clinical site action items.

• Document monitoring findings and maintain comprehensive monitoring records.

• Deliver clinical and technical training as well as support for clinical trials and commercial launches.

• Collaborate with commercial partners to provide product education and customer support.

• Maintain clinical and technical knowledge, serving as a local resource.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, health science, nursing, or a related area.

• At least 1 year of progressively responsible clinical trial experience in the cardiovascular sector.

• Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.

• Familiarity with catheterization lab and operating room protocols and procedures is preferred.

• Core level Abbott certification and/or equivalent proficiency.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

• Capacity for independent problem-solving and decision-making.

• Up-to-date knowledge of clinical and Abbott product advancements, competitive positioning, and relevant scientific and economic evidence.
