Clinical Science Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement compliant, non-promotional educational initiatives focused on cardiac arrhythmias designed for primary care physician (PCP) audiences.

• Convert existing and emerging scientific research into practical insights that are applicable to primary care practices.

• Build credibility as a clinical resource and strategic partner for PCPs and their care teams.

• Inform healthcare providers about the connection between prevalent comorbidities and heightened arrhythmia risk.

• Tackle symptom overlap and the potential for diagnostic overshadowing within primary care populations.

• Advocate for the involvement of PCPs in initiating suitable diagnostic pathways, including the utilization of arrhythmia monitoring devices within established guidelines.

• Provide education to PCPs regarding clinical considerations, appropriate scenarios, and the limitations of short-duration monitoring (24–48 hour Holter) in comparison to longer-term continuous monitoring (LTCM) as per current standards of care.

• Facilitate the adoption of a symptom- and risk-based questionnaire to identify high-risk patients suitable for arrhythmia monitoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years with a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent qualifications.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, MSN, DNP, or comparable clinical experience is preferred.

• At least 7 years of clinical experience, with a strong preference for cardiology, electrophysiology, or primary care backgrounds.

• A minimum of 3 years in clinical education, provider engagement, or medical affairs roles.

• Experience in educating PCPs or working in primary care environments is preferred.
