This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
• Acts as a representative for Medtronic during surgical procedures by ensuring access to all essential equipment and products needed for the case, including device selection, programming, implantation, and testing of all device systems.
• Offers clinical support during surgeries, troubleshooting, and follow-ups in hospitals and clinics.
• Responds swiftly and appropriately to technical inquiries from customers, patients, and colleagues.
• Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of competitive products.
• Provides education and training to physicians, hospital staff, and office personnel on technical aspects related to our products and therapies.
• Assists Management and the Sales Training department in the education and training of new employees within the district.
• Adheres to necessary event reporting and documentation requirements using Medtronic's technology tools.
• Responsible for placing orders with customer service for pending purchase orders and product replacements, and for coordinating with materials management to collect POs for cases covered within the territory/district.
• Oversees inventory provided for case coverage.
• Contributes to achieving quarterly goals related to specific initiatives at both district and/or national levels.
• Collaborates with sales representatives to meet business objectives set for the territory/district and documents quarterly activities using designated business tools.
• Visits accounts to restock literature and builds/maintains relationships with office personnel.
• A High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or
• An Associate's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or
• A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of clinical or medical sales experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field (Nice to Have)
• A Master’s degree (Nice to Have)
• Registered nurse or healthcare professional with experience in a sterile environment (Nice to Have)
• Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care (Nice to Have)
• Experience providing service to medical personnel regarding product usage (Nice to Have)
• Experience with a medical device or pharmaceutical company, and clinical experience in a specialized area such as neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, operating room, pain management, or home healthcare (Nice to Have)
