This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• The Clinical Sales Specialist is essential for facilitating the effective clinical adoption and usage of the Dexter® Robotic Surgery System within a designated territory.
• This role integrates clinical knowledge with business insight to assist surgeons, operating room personnel, and hospital stakeholders throughout the customer experience.
• Collaborate closely with the regional commercial team to ensure effective implementation, training, and continuous clinical support for Dexter procedures.
• Provide hands-on training, offer intraoperative assistance, and cultivate strong relationships with surgeons and clinical staff.
• Promote procedure growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and expand robotic surgery initiatives.
• Deliver practical clinical support for the Dexter installed base within the specified territory.
• Assist surgeons and operating room personnel in the safe and effective operation of Dexter before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Offer on-site support during system setup, surgical operations, and post-procedure activities.
• Educate and instruct hospital Central Sterile Services / Sterile Processing Departments (SPD) on the correct reprocessing of Dexter reusable instruments.
• Foster procedure utilization and growth of Dexter procedures within the assigned territory.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in medical devices, surgical robotics, or operating room settings.
• Prior experience in clinical sales support, surgical training, or field clinical roles is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with minimally invasive surgery or robotic surgery platforms is a plus.
• Strong clinical aptitude and capability to support surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Exceptional communication, training, and presentation abilities.
• Capacity to establish trusted relationships with surgeons and clinical teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
• Capability to work in operating room environments, including extended surgical procedures when required.
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel to customer locations.
