Senior Sales Manager – Industrial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary liaison for relationships both internally and externally, ranging from field personnel to the executive team.

• Serve as a bridge to gain a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business model and how GE’s products and services provide additional value.

• Formulate and spearhead the specific account strategy for these key accounts, concentrating on sustaining existing business and expanding our presence across the Grid Solutions portfolio.

• Oversee multiple sales channels and facilitate business support to empower these channels to generate results.

• Identify, qualify, and cultivate sales leads within targeted market segments.

• Discover prospects and generate new sales opportunities.

• Achieve or surpass annual commercial order intake and margin objectives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution, or equivalent knowledge/experience.

• At least 10 years of professional experience.

• Experience in direct sales, channel sales, or account management.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical/industrial market sales or a product business role.

• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful growth strategies.

• Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with various stakeholders and customers.

• Preferred background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.

• Proven capability to analyze and solve problems.

• Demonstrated experience in leading programs and projects.

• Proficient in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.

• Established skills in project management.
