Clinical Recruitment Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete recruiting strategy for licensed behavioral health clinicians at Josi Health.

• Oversee the full recruitment cycle for Clinical Psychologists (PhD/PsyD), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFTs), and similar clinical professionals.

• Create and sustain high-quality talent pipelines to meet current and future hiring demands.

• Develop sourcing strategies that effectively attract passive clinical talent.

• Source clinicians through platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, licensing boards, professional associations, referral networks, conferences, niche communities, university alumni networks, and targeted outreach.

• Generate market intelligence concerning clinician supply, compensation trends, geographic availability, cross-state licensure policies and compacts (e.g., PsyPact, Counseling Compact), and competitor hiring activities.

• Propose hiring strategies based on labor market conditions and organizational priorities.

• Identify growth opportunities and markets rich in talent to facilitate company expansion.

• Collaborate closely with founders, operations, and clinical leadership to comprehend workforce planning, provider capacity, and hiring priorities.

• Conduct intake meetings to clarify role requirements and hiring expectations.

• Advise leadership on recruiting strategies, compensation competitiveness, improvements to the interview process, and hiring timelines.

• Serve as a trusted recruiting partner rather than merely taking orders.

• Ensure an outstanding candidate experience from initial outreach through to offer acceptance.

• Perform thorough recruiter screens to evaluate clinical experience, licensure, telehealth readiness, state coverage, communication style, and alignment with the mission.

• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring journey.

• Safeguard and enhance Josi Health's employer brand.

• Develop scalable recruiting workflows, playbooks, interview guides, and documentation.

• Keep accurate candidate records within the ATS (e.g., JazzHR).

• Monitor recruiting performance through dashboards and reporting.

• Continuously refine recruiting processes to shorten time-to-fill while ensuring hiring quality.

• Manage recruiting metrics including:

• Time-to-fill

• Pipeline health

• Source effectiveness

• Interview-to-offer conversion

• Offer acceptance rate

• Hiring manager satisfaction

• Candidate experience

• Clinician retention trends

• Identify bottlenecks and implement enhancements that increase hiring quality, recruiting efficiency, and scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle healthcare recruiting experience.

• At least 2 years of experience leading or overseeing a clinical recruiting function.

• Proven success in recruiting licensed behavioral health clinicians, including psychologists and therapists.

• Experience in a startup or rapidly growing healthcare organization where recruiting processes were developed or significantly enhanced.

• Strong passive sourcing abilities utilizing various channels beyond job boards.

• In-depth knowledge of behavioral health licensing, telehealth recruiting, and multi-state hiring considerations.

• Experience working directly with executive leadership and hiring managers.

• Exceptional interviewing, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical skills with experience in using recruiting metrics to enhance recruiting performance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
