This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in enterprise cardiovascular quality initiatives, which encompass MIPS/MVPs, Clinically Integrated Network, payer-specific performance reporting, and internal clinical quality and patient safety efforts.
• Evaluate quality performance data at the provider, practice, and network levels.
• Create and sustain dashboards, scorecards, and regular performance reports.
• Detect trends, variations, and areas for quality enhancement.
• Aid in audit preparedness and documentation associated with quality reporting and payer programs.
• Partner with physician leaders and quality personnel to promote quality improvement efforts.
• Implement standardized analytic processes and best practices.
• Contribute to the creation and upkeep of analytic documentation and reporting templates.
• Collaborate with physician leaders, practice administrators, and quality and research committees.
• Deliver analytic results clearly and succinctly to both clinical and operational audiences.
• Engage in enterprise quality and research meetings as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research, data science, healthcare administration, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in clinical or outcomes research, particularly in quality improvement analytics.
• Extensive experience working with clinical datasets, including EHR, registry, and/or claims data.
• Proficient in SQL and PowerBI, with the ability to build and maintain dashboards and reports.
• Understanding of healthcare quality programs or clinical research workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Master’s degree (MPH, MS, MHA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Proficiency with SAS is preferred.
• Familiarity with Python and R is preferred.
• Experience in cardiovascular medicine or cardiology practice settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of IRB-regulated research or observational studies is preferred.
• Familiarity with CMS quality programs, MIPS/MVPs, ACOs, or payer quality reporting is preferred.
• Comfortable working independently within defined project parameters and self-driven.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a completely remote work setting.
• Highly organized.
