Clinical Project Manager – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all operations of clinical studies, including strategic and tactical planning, organization, and direction of project activities.

• Supervise clinical project timelines, reports, budgets, monitoring, site and vendor management, clinical supplies, and data collection processes.

• Facilitate effective communication among sponsors, study teams, and functional groups.

• Manage, motivate, mentor, and allocate responsibilities to team members involved in the study.

• Provide financial oversight for study budgets, including tracking out-of-scope expenses.

• Collaborate with senior management to provide updates on study progress, resource allocation, sponsor-related issues, and overall health status.

• Develop, maintain, and disseminate project plans throughout the lifecycle of the study.

• Ensure studies are conducted in accordance with GCP, SOPs, regulatory requirements, and project-specific guidelines.

• Evaluate resourcing and training needs, implementing training plans as necessary.

• Monitor study risks, escalate issues appropriately, and modify timelines as necessary.

• Oversee the activities and deliverables of external vendors.

⛳️ Requirements

• RN or a Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in biological sciences or a related field, or a comparable combination of relevant experience, education, or training, along with prior CRA experience.

• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities.

• Proven track record of effectiveness as a team leader.

• Previous experience in successfully managing complex studies from initiation through to completion.

• Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.

• Experience in managing projects within a virtual environment.

• Demonstrated capacity to lead by example and inspire team members to find solutions independently.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

• Familiarity with MS Project and OneNote is an advantage.
