Clinical Product Consultant – CDI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Impart knowledge of our CDI Suite of products and workflows to both new and existing client users.

• Deliver client support to enhance the adoption of the Aware CDI product suite.

• Implement best practice processes to ensure successful client adoption.

• Proactively manage the client experience to meet implementation milestones, address client support requests and expectations, and track client adoption of the CDI Suite.

• Analyze client key performance indicators to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements.

• Work in conjunction with the wider Waystar Customer Success team to provide a seamless, integrated, and consistent experience for clients and users.

• Partner with Waystar’s Education team as a clinical subject matter expert to develop and deliver educational programs that promote industry best practices and our products.

• Collaborate with product teams as a subject matter expert to outline and design the clinical elements that enhance our product suite.

• Share insights gained from client interactions to guide future research initiatives and influence product roadmaps.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Nursing (RN) is required.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a CDI role with a proven track record of progressive growth in CDI leadership roles.

• Familiarity with multiple clinical documentation programs, medical record coding, healthcare billing, and revenue cycle management.

• Proven presentation skills with various stakeholders, from internal partners to C-suite executives.

• Experience in delivering CDI content and information.

• At least 5 years of clinical experience in acute care settings, critical care, or emergency departments is preferred.

• A self-starter, highly motivated to achieve success.

• A team player with a focus on addressing the needs of our clients and our business.

• Willingness to travel 25 - 50% to client sites and company headquarters.
