Clinical Practice Liaison – Long Term Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture clinical and scientific relationships with Advanced Practice Providers and other healthcare professionals.

• Convey and promote Neurocrine’s scientific stance in accordance with the Medical Affairs strategy.

• Assist in educational outreach regarding disease-state pathophysiology, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment options.

• Concentrate educational outreach efforts on Community Mental Health Centers, Long Term Care, and skilled nursing facilities.

• Cultivate clinical and scientific credibility with local, regional, and national advanced practice Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and other healthcare providers (HCPs).

• Identify knowledge gaps across various clinical practice settings and provider categories.

• Educate providers on disease states, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with national and state professional organizations to enhance educational efforts.

• Remain updated on literature and research relevant to the therapeutic area.

• Identify and suggest research opportunities and project sites.

• Act as a scientific resource and trainer for internal Neurocrine teams.

• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to synchronize initiatives.

• Attend pertinent medical congresses and share insights.

• Propose field resources for Clinical Practice Leaders (CPLs), such as presentations and publications.

• Fulfill required reports and assignments within set deadlines.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree, NP, CNS, PA or equivalent, along with 4+ years of relevant experience, OR a PhD, DNP, or PharmD degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Understanding of best practices in the functional discipline and familiarity with broader concepts in related business disciplines.

• Developing a reputation within the company related to the area of expertise.

• Capability to collaborate as part of a team and lead lateral projects.

• Strong leadership abilities.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.

• Ability to meet multiple deadlines across various projects/programs with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

• Outstanding oral, written, and presentation skills.

• Clinical expertise in the Therapeutic Area of Psychiatry or Neurology.

• Maintain professional licensure, including advanced practice licensure and certification as required by individual state laws.

• Ability to represent Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. in a professional manner at all times.

• Ability to adhere to fiscal and compliance guidelines.

• Candidates must reside in Pennsylvania.

• Recent experience in long-term care.

• Experience collaborating with advanced practice providers is preferred.
