This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

• Perform evidence-based evaluations of pharmaceuticals and drug classes utilizing recognized clinical methodologies.

• Create and sustain Gainwell TCRs to facilitate recommendations for the management of the Preferred Drug List (PDL).

• Utilize principles of evidence-based medicine to formulate clinical prior authorization recommendations and accompanying documentation.

• Analyze clinical and pricing information to assist the Gainwell clinical PDL team.

• Examine and track prescription claims data and identify outlier prescribing patterns.

• Aid in the creation of Clinical Services publications produced on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and on-demand basis.

• Enhance continuous quality improvement by pinpointing opportunities for enhancement.

• Offer assistance to client accounts during the phases of implementation, maintenance, and ongoing operations.

• Foster collaboration and alignment throughout the pharmacy sector.

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree is mandatory.

• An active Pharmacist license is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in pharmacy benefit management is necessary.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting a Medicaid PBM account.

• Proven understanding of Medicaid regulations at both state and federal levels.

• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and relevant compliance standards.

• Proficient in PowerPoint and skilled in delivering presentations both within the organization and to external audiences.
