Clinical Operations Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Supervise healthcare management personnel and cultivate high-performing teams.

• Manage a non-clinical DE staff.

• Ensure uniformity in clinical interventions that support members.

• Achieve financial, operational, and quality goals of the unit.

• Oversee the execution of healthcare management services.

• Apply clinical policies and procedures in line with regulatory and accreditation standards.

• Guide the team on practice standards, quality of interventions, problem resolution, and critical thinking.

• Implement and assess best-practice approaches and innovations across the entire care continuum.

• Collaborate with key business sectors.

• Develop, assist in the creation of, and review training materials.

• Partner in delivering inter- and intra-departmental training sessions.

• Safeguard the confidentiality of member information.

• Manage resources for member identification, care-plan development and execution, medical appropriateness, quality of care, monitoring, evaluation, and documentation.

• Establish, initiate, oversee, and communicate performance expectations.

• Ensure the team comprehends and utilizes information-system capabilities and functionalities.

• May be responsible for managing an individual caseload.

• Act as a point of contact for customers and account teams, including attending customer meetings and supporting new-customer implementations.

• Engage in staff recruitment and hiring processes.

• Evaluate developmental needs and implement action plans to foster high-performing teams.

• Encourage teamwork, cross-product integration, and a continuum-of-care mindset.

• Lead change initiatives as an exemplary change agent.

• Promote a positive work atmosphere and acknowledge team contributions.

• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of clinical experience.

• At least 1 year of direct people leadership, supervisory, team lead, or management experience in a healthcare environment.

• An active Arizona (AZ) RN license is required.

• Authorized to practice in the state of Arizona.

• May occasionally need to travel to health fairs on weekends.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Prior experience in managed care is preferred.

• Capable of evaluating and interpreting data, identifying areas for improvement, and focusing on interventions to enhance outcomes.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with providers, members, staff, and other leaders, both verbally and in writing.

• Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate's Nursing Degree is required.

• BSN is preferred.
