This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee designated clinical operations programs and teams.
• Offer operational leadership for Behavioral Health programs and related workflows, which include care coordination, referrals, and support for patients and providers.
• Create, execute, and manage clinical-program workflows, procedures, performance metrics, escalation pathways, and operational controls.
• Guide, mentor, and develop clinical and operational team members through coaching, performance management, goal setting, professional growth, and accountability.
• Collaborate with Behavioral Leaders, Nursing, Medical Affairs, Operations, Product, and Technology teams.
• Identify root causes, remove unnecessary manual tasks, and develop sustainable solutions.
• Establish, monitor, analyze, and report on operational and clinical performance metrics.
• Lead teams through the implementation of new programs, technological changes, workflow redesigns, and organizational initiatives.
• Offer leadership and decision-making support for complex patient, provider, and workflow escalations.
• Ensure that operations align with organizational policies, clinical standards, regulatory and privacy requirements, as well as applicable best practices.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, workload management, and resource planning.
• Develop and implement onboarding, training, job aids, procedures, and related resources.
• Provide leadership during urgent operational events, system outages, and workflow disruptions.
• Lead or engage in cross-functional initiatives and special projects.
• Robust operational and systems-thinking capabilities.
• Experience in process improvement, workflow design, program implementation, and change management.
• Strong leadership and performance management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple programs, priorities, and stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent analytical skills and capacity to utilize operational data and performance metrics.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration, influencing, and relationship management.
• Ability to independently recognize issues, investigate root causes, develop recommendations, and drive solutions.
• Understanding of healthcare operations, patient care coordination, clinical workflows, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and care management platforms.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Internet connection via cable broadband or fiber optic service with a minimum of 10 Mbps download/5 Mbps upload speed.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent relevant healthcare operations experience will be considered.
• Proven experience in healthcare or clinical operations, behavioral health operations, care coordination, or a similar healthcare setting.
• Previous leadership experience with accountability for people, programs, workflows, or operational performance.
• Demonstrated experience in enhancing processes, implementing workflows, or managing healthcare programs.
