📋 Description

• Take ownership of the grading playbook, standard operating procedures (SOPs), onboarding resources, and the provider network policy library; create, update, maintain, and route clinical content to the Medical Director for review and approval.

• Establish governance for documentation concerning network ownership, version control, review frequency, and sign-off processes.

• Design and manage the grader quality program, which includes sampling, over-read and discordance evaluations, accountability for turnaround times, and performance feedback.

• Prepare quality reviews and escalations for the Medical Director's adjudication, and implement resulting actions, including performance discussions and offboarding procedures.

• Develop and sustain capacity models by state, customer, and license coverage, while establishing recruitment triggers ahead of turnaround violations.

• Manage the grader recruitment process from sourcing to interviews and recommendations, collaborating with the Operations Manager on credentialing and onboarding execution.

• Handle the intake, triage, and routing of customer and grader complaints, including urgent findings workflows.

• Direct clinical inquiries to the Medical Director, ensure closure with customers, and track issues over time.

• Set agendas, prepare decision materials, and follow through to allow the Medical Director to concentrate on clinical judgment.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on platform enhancements that minimize manual tasks and document current workflows.

• Contribute to network metrics for the weekly grader operations rhythm and the company scorecard.

• Meet first-year goals, including maintaining signed and versioned policies, operating quality and complaint programs, utilizing capacity-driven recruitment, and transitioning at least two manual processes into the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in healthcare operations.

• At least 2 years managing a network of contracted or affiliated clinicians.

• Experience in telehealth, teleradiology, or virtual care is strongly preferred over traditional medical group or Independent Practice Association (IPA) settings.

• Proven experience writing clinical or operational policies that receive sign-off from a physician leader and maintaining those policies thereafter.

• Experience leading or significantly contributing to a clinical quality, peer review, or provider performance initiative.

• Previous experience operating a clinician network under the clinical oversight of a medical director is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with credentialing, medical staff services, or multistate clinician licensing is a plus.

• Background in teleophthalmology is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Experience in product discovery or the operationalization of new feature launches is an added advantage.

• Comfortable building and interpreting operational dashboards and capacity models using spreadsheets or business intelligence tools.

• Preference for candidates with startup experience, including the ability to establish processes in unstructured environments and demonstrate results.

• Strong written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with physicians as a non-clinician.

• Experience in driving the adoption of new processes across teams without direct reporting authority.

• Must be US-based and comfortable with remote work, as well as occasional travel for team offsites and customer engagements.

🏝️ Benefits

• Competitive compensation package, including performance-based bonuses and potential for additional earnings.

• Comprehensive health, vision, dental, and commuter benefits.

• Generous monthly reimbursement for health and wellness expenses.

• Unique exposure to new business development at the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare.

• Opportunity to tackle complex problems and collaborate with leading experts from healthcare provider networks, academia, and the industry.

• Chance to work within a highly skilled, close-knit team and alongside world-class mentors who can provide support and guidance throughout your entrepreneurial journey.

• Equity opportunities.
