This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Oversee the front-end clinical readiness process for students, from initial intake through to clearance for clinical commencement.
• Monitor, track, and maintain the status of process completion utilizing databases and external systems.
• Examine and verify necessary documentation, which includes immunizations, background checks, and certifications.
• Uphold clinical documentation standards in accordance with clinical site agreements, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Act as the main contact for clinical readiness inquiries from both students and faculty members.
• Communicate requirements, deadlines, and updates on status.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve issues related to incomplete, outdated, or non-compliant documentation.
• Organize and keep accurate, audit-ready records of documentation and communications.
• Produce reports and status summaries regarding progress, compliance rates, and outstanding requirements.
• Facilitate meetings with campus leadership, faculty, and student support teams to tackle clinical placement challenges.
• Provide updates on status and communicate any risks, barriers, and issues related to placement.
• Collaborate on solutions that promote student advancement and successful clinical placements.
• Mentor and train campus teams on documentation, communication, and data management concerning clinical experiences.
• An Associate’s Degree is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• At least five years of experience in clinical coordination within healthcare or collegiate environments.
• A minimum of two (2) years in customer service or sales, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in Excel is necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, including daily responsibilities while handling phone calls, emails, messages, and meetings.
• A highly organized and focused professional who effectively addresses problems and drives innovation with accountability and a commitment to continuous improvement.
