Clinical Nurse Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Supervising referral assignments from the care coordination assistant, ensuring an equitable distribution of caseloads.

• Monitoring the submission of reports by direct reports to Quality Assurance (QA) and addressing any training needs with each associate promptly.

• Communicating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to the broader clinical leadership team to highlight strengths and areas for improvement within the clinical care coordination team.

• Conducting critical clinical analyses of active patient case problems, risks, and obstacles.

• Holding monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports to ensure alignment on departmental goals and provide feedback on associate strengths.

• Managing and tracking associate deadlines related to care coordination plan development, report submissions, and contract deadlines, accompanied by a closure report.

• Escalating and monitoring any user system challenges reported by the team.

• Collaborating with other clinical leadership members to proactively identify barriers faced by associates, perform root cause analyses, and implement solutions alongside the clinical leadership team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust clinical skill set, including diagnostic reasoning abilities.

• Proficient medical writing, editing, and formatting skills.

• In-depth knowledge of Case Management Systems and/or Electronic Medical Record Systems.

• Strong command of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel.

• Keen attention to detail in both written and verbal communications.

• Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Workers’ Compensation, including catastrophic case management.

• Management experience in a managed care environment is preferred.
