This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +3 more states.
• Converts new and competitive customer accounts.
• Fosters customer acceptance through personal accountability, showcasing QuidelOrtho value propositions, demonstrating product capabilities, and effectively managing high-potential opportunities to close.
• Facilitates placements of Clinical Laboratory instruments within a designated territory.
• Develops and implements strategic territory plans to prioritize, pursue, and convert competitive customer accounts.
• Cultivates expertise as the subject matter expert on all competitive instrumentation and shares knowledge with the entire team.
• Collaborates with Strategic Account Executives in all relevant planning activities related to Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs).
• Gains access to competitive customer accounts, identifies opportunities, and develops leads.
• Builds and utilizes relationships with key stakeholders, creates and executes a customer touchpoint/call plan aligned with the customer’s buying cycle, manages opportunities within and outside of the sales cycle, and employs a strategic selling framework.
• Aids in transition planning for newly converted customers, ensuring a smooth handoff to Account Managers.
• Collaborates with relevant technical teams and Inside Sales to target and convert standalone, non-standardized IDNs.
• Provides timely and precise sales forecasts, activity updates, account information, and reports through the CRM system and works with Marketing to identify equipment placement opportunities within the CRM environment.
• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Healthcare industry is required, along with knowledge of B2B sales and/or distribution sales.
• Strong skills in business development, strategic marketing, and data analysis are essential for generating new business opportunities.
• Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable tactical plans.
• Proven capability to deliver results in a highly independent and fast-paced team environment.
• Strong commercial and business acumen.
• Proficient in identifying key business issues and providing insightful, actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles both internally and externally.
• Ability to analyze financial data and formulate logical strategies and plans based on the analysis.
• Exceptional skills in presentation, demonstration, and negotiation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High standards of ethics and professionalism when interacting with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
• Must be able to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work under general supervision while following established procedures is required.
