This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Responsible for overseeing clinical services and, in collaboration with a Territory Manager, promoting and selling Tandem Diabetes products within a designated territory.
• Identifies prospective customers and builds business relationships to facilitate the sale of Tandem Diabetes' products and clinical services.
• Utilizes clinical knowledge to offer clinical and sales support, as well as product education directly to trainers, physicians, and their teams.
• Delivers training and support on Tandem products to patients.
• Effectively uses customer training and clinical expertise in the marketplace to achieve positive clinical outcomes and drive sales.
• Collaborates with the assigned Territory Manager to devise successful strategies that address clinical concerns in the sales territory, ensuring the sale of Tandem Diabetes products.
• RN (BSN preferred), RD, RPh, or a comparable mix of education and relevant job experience.
• Advanced Diabetes Education Professional Credential (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) or Board Certified, Advanced Diabetes Management (BC-ADM) certified or eligible).
• 2 years of experience in coordinating and conducting patient education on the technical usage of diabetes technology (experience with video remote education preferred).
• Ability to effectively connect with patients, referral sources, and healthcare professionals.
• Proven capability to communicate effectively as a clinical expert on diabetes, diabetes technology, Automated Insulin Delivery, and diabetes management software systems to both patients and healthcare providers.
• Proficient in presenting educational content clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• 1 year of relevant experience in the diabetes/endocrinology industry preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 80% within your assigned territory; must hold a valid driver’s license and required auto insurance, along with a clean driving record as per company policy.
